He started to work as a photojournalist in 1996 at a  local newspaper “Olay” in Bursa. He was  working as a freelance photojournalist for various monthly magazines in 1997. For a short while, he worked as a photography editor for Gezi Traveler Magazine. He was a staff photographer for World Picture News Agency for two years. He is still working as a freelance photojournalist.
