He is one of the founders of AFSAD (Ankara Photographers Association) , 1977.
He worked at DİSK General Work Union's Photography Film Center till 1980. He worked in Photographer Kids Workshop Project for Volunteer Supporters, after the 1999 Marmara Earthquake.

He is one of the founders of Photography Foundation, 2000.

Five travel books of him are published. He is working as a freelance photojournalist, writing and producing photo-essays and going for long journeys.
